About
Who builds Plynx
Plynx is made by one person, Niccolò Pagano, a student in the BSc in Mathematical and Computing Sciences for Artificial Intelligence at Bocconi University.
What Plynx is
A free iPhone app to code, flash and control ESP32, ESP8266 and Arduino boards. You build a dashboard of widgets, write your board's firmware on the phone and send it over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Archimedes, the built-in assistant, reads your project, writes and compiles the firmware, draws the wiring on a breadboard and sends the update to your board.
How it started
Plynx started in November 2025 and has been on the App Store since January 2026. It is built almost entirely with Claude, Anthropic's AI, from the iOS app to the server and the Arduino library.
Where it is going
The goal is an AI that designs a complete IoT project together with you, from the circuit and the PCB to the enclosure and the firmware.
